EARLY ACCESS: If you're interested in using this feature and you're on the Enterprise plan, feel free to reach out to your success manager who will activate this for you.
Collections allow you to organize single publication group into subfolders for:
- Improved organizational structure: Build Publication lists of similar Publications, owned by a single parent Group;
- Quicker set-up & lower maintenance: Configure shared settings in a parent Group (i.e. custom domain), and market-specific settings in the Collection ( i.e. currency, language, product feed);
- Consistency across your organization: Use the parent group to centrally configure any shared settings, ensuring all Collections are automatically in sync.
Use collections when you want to:
- Organize publications of a single brand in multiple markets;
- Organize publications based on language in multilingual countries;
- Organize publications per type within each brand or market group.
How to add a collection in a group
-
Select the ellipsis menu next to Publications
-
Select "New collection" menu item
-
Define a name and click Create.
By selecting a collection, a list of publications will be updated to show only those within that collection. The functionality of adding and managing publications within a collection is the same as within a group.
When collections are added, the "Publications" option above the list of collections will act as a group-level root directory. Any publication not moved into a collection within that group will appear when the "Publications" option is selected.
Updating collection settings
- Select the collection from the list of collections in a specific group
-
Select the ellipsis menu next to the collection name
-
Select Publication reader
-
Update publication reader settings for all publications within the collection through
-
Display and formatting
-

-
Advanced settings.
-
Delete a collection
-
Select the ellipsis menu next to a collection's name
-
Select Delete
-
Click Delete in the confirmation popup to complete the deletion.
Notes:
-
Deleting a collection is possible only if that collection is empty.
Assigning different feeds to collections
With multiple collections present in a group, it is possible to assign different product feeds to each collection. This requires using the product libraries feature.
-
Select the collection
-
Select the ellipsis menu next to the collection name and select the "Product Library" menu item
-
In the popup window, select a feed from the list of feeds available for that group
-
Alternatively, navigate to Manage Libraries.
Please note that assigning a feed to the Publications list as a group-level root directory will only make the product feed available in publications within the Publications list, but not in any collections in the same group. To have the same feed available in any collection, it has to be assigned to that collection as well.
