Publitas now offers an exciting new feature that allows users to create content from scratch. With this feature, you can unleash your creativity without the need to upload a PDF. In this guide, we'll walk you through how to use this feature and make the most of it.

Getting started
Click on "Create from scratch" instead of the "Upload PDF" button to begin crafting your content from scratch.
Set-up your publication:
- Publication Title: give your publication a unique title to help you identify it later.
- Size: choose a pre-set size or customize the width and height to suit your specific needs. The 'Mobile' recommended size is what we find works best for mobile-first content.
- You have minimum 40px and maximum 30000px dimensions

- Layout: as usual, select either "Single Page" or "Spread" layout based on your preferences.
- Click: 'Confirm settings & create publication'
After setting up your publication, you will be directed straight to the Publitas Editor, where you can start creating and adding enrichments as usual.
Customizing your content
Background color:
If you want to change the background color of your publication from the default white, head to the right sidebar. There, you'll find a color picker tool that lets you choose a background color for each page, even if you have a spread layout.
Adding pages:
To add more pages to your publication, select the Add Pages icon in the top right of the sidebar OR navigate to the 'Page Manager' and click on the 'Add Pages' button. You can add as many additional pages as needed to accommodate your content.
Resizing pages
Still in the Page Manager, you can change the page sizes at any time after creating content under 'Page Layout' Tab. Note: all pages will be impacted by the change.
