If your Publitas account falls into the wrong hands, someone can - Access your private, offline publications - Upload and publish abusive content online on your site - Hide dangerous and malicious code in your publications #### How to protect your Publitas account **Use Strong Passwords** A strong password is at least 8 characters long. It should contain a mix of: UPPER & lower case letters, numbers, and special characters.  **Use a Password Manager** A password manager helps you to securely save passwords. Because of that, you can use complex passwords you would otherwise not be able to remember!  **Never share accounts.** Create new Publitas accounts for each individual user (*Enterprise Only*). A shared login can make it impossible to pinpoint fault. In fact, shared login credentials are a huge security risk in itself.  **Review your active Publitas accounts on a regular basis**Ensure only those who need access to Publitas have user accounts. Check if the correct people have the correct permissions. Only assign Administrator rights when essential.   **Avoid login using public WiFi networks**Working on a public WiFi network? Be aware that your connection may not be secure. This is an easy opportunity for attackers to "snoop" on you, stealing your data.
