How to report Malicious Content

 At Publitas, we take the safety, legality, and integrity of our platform very seriously. We provide tools for brands and retailers to publish interactive catalogs, and we work hard to ensure that no harmful, illegal, or misleading content is hosted on our service.

If you encounter any publication or account that appears malicious, illegal, or in violation of our policies, please report it to us immediately. We review every report promptly and take action when necessary.

What You Can Report

You may submit a report if you believe a Publitas publication or account contains:

Malicious Content

  • Malware, viruses, or harmful downloads

  • Phishing attempts or fake login prompts

  • Fake shops or fraudulent purchase pages

  • Links to dangerous or deceptive websites

Illegal or Unlawful Material

  • Unlawful products or services

  • Explicit sexual content involving minors

  • Personal data published without consent

  • Copyright or trademark infringement

Misleading or Harmful Content

  • Scams, impersonation, or deceptive claims

  • Clickbait or spam redirects

  • Defamation or hate content

  • Any content that violates applicable laws or Publitas’ Acceptable Use Policy

If you are unsure whether something qualifies, we still encourage you to submit the report—our team will review and classify it.

How to Report a Publication or Account

You can report suspicious or illegal content through one of the following methods:

Please include the following information so we can review your report quickly:

  • URL(s) of the publication or page

  • Description of the issue

  • Why you believe it is malicious or illegal

  • Your contact information (optional but helpful)

  • Any screenshots or evidence, if available

Our team will acknowledge your report and investigate promptly.

How Publitas Handles Reports

Once we receive a report:

  1. Support reviews the case immediately.

  2. Clearly malicious content (phishing, malware, scams) is removed within 24 hours.

  3. Ambiguous or legally sensitive reports (IP infringement, defamation, privacy breaches) are reviewed by our Legal team within two business days.

  4. In some cases, access may be temporarily disabled while we investigate.

  5. We notify the reporting party once the review is completed.

  6. Affected users have the option to appeal decisions.

Publitas maintains detailed records of all notices and actions as required under EU law.
