You can use Photoshop to generate or edit your PDF files to use in Publitas. As Photoshop is designed to produce pixel or raster based images the PDFs generated will not contain a separate text layer.
This extra text is required to use features like the online publication's search option, SEO or the product detection feature (Gold and higher). If these features are important to you, we recommend using Adobe InDesign to design your pages and export PDF files.
