By default, we optimize all publications for SEO purposes. When a publication is set to Online it is also available to search engines for indexing and showing them in the search engine's results.
When SEO is disabled, your publication will not be indexed by search engines which means they will not appear in search engines, like Google. Your publication will only be accessible from its sharing link.
- On Group level: To disable SEO for all publications at once go to the group options via the three dots next to the group name and select Viewer Customization. Under the Advanced settings tab you'll find the option to disable the SEO for all publications in that group.
- On publication level: In case you need SEO to be enabled on group level you can disable SEO for a specific publication. Just click on the title of the publication to open the Publication settings, scroll down and check the box under the SEO section:
Publications that have already been indexed by Google, before SEO was disabled, will remain visible via Google.
